Florida State wing Jamir Watkins withdrew from the NBA Draft minutes before the deadline on Wednesday night and will officially transfer.
According to Trilly Donovan , St. John’s and Michigan are two of the schools that are most involved with Watkins. News that came shortly after Matt Norlander reported that Michigan was still in the market to add one more transfer .
Watkins averaged 15.6 points, 6 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game for the Seminoles last season in his redshirt junior year after transferring from VCU. He was invited to the NBA Draft Combine but eventually opted to return to school.
He measured 6-foot-5 without shoes, 211.6 pounds with a 6-foot-10.75-inch wingspan at the combine. Watkins was projected as a second-round pick in the 2024 NBA Draft.
