“I really felt a special connection with Michigan. The staff, the players, and people around the team fit my values and carry a good vibe. I will be surrounded by athletes and people who play to win and develop,” Moller told On3’s Joe Tipton ($). “We share visions of my future, and he will put me in a situation where I will develop. He will push me to make me the best version of myself as a basketball player as well as a person. His focus on the person and not just the basketball player builds a healthy environment for growth.
“I can’t wait to be a part of Michigan and represent this program with pride. I’m ready to work, compete, and give everything I’ve got for the maize and blue. Big things are coming, and this is special. Go Blue! Go Michigan!”
Moller is unranked on the 247Sports composite, which is common for international recruits more than a year away from debuting in college basketball. Based off his Instagram , it looks like he took a visit to Ann Arbor fairly recently, and also took trips to SMU, Colorado State and Oklahoma State.
He represented Denmark at the 2024 FIBA U18 EuroBasket and at the 2025 FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers. In 2024 — the larger sample size of games — Moller averaged 13.1 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.
Doing a preliminary watch of Moller’s highlights, he’s got good touch around the rim and a good feel for where to be for easy baskets. He finished well in traffic, albeit the competition he was playing against in the video below was never near his size. He’s got a pretty jump shot from the mid-range, He runs the pick-and-roll well and can knock down a three at the top of the key — it’s obvious why May and his staff have an affinity for him.
Yes, he currently has an incredibly skinny frame, but that’s common among young big men and can be corrected with a college strength program.
In terms of recruiting buzz, this commitment came out of nowhere, but it’s a pleasant surprise considering Moller’s size. We saw what May and his staff did with Danny Wolf and Vlad Goldin last season, and big men across the country have taken notice. Consider Moller a ball of clay at this point and to trust Michigan’s staff to develop him.
This is the second time this summer May landed an international 7-footer, with the first being 2025 prospect Malick Kordel , who is from Germany. Moller is the first 2026 recruit to commit to Michigan.
We’ll have a more in-depth breakdown of his game and how he fits with the Wolverines in the near future.
