As the Michigan Wolverines continue to gear up for the 2025 season, there are several players that could end up being selected in the 2026 NFL Draft .
Here are our five Wolverines that are most likely to get drafted in the first round next spring.
1. Derrick Moore (edge rusher)
Leading the way for the Wolverines’ defense is Moore, who has been a consistent force in recent years. Moore is coming off back to back productive seasons, compiling 57 tackles and nine sacks in the last two years, and he should be in store for a dominant 2025 campaign before declaring for the draft. With another strong season, Moore could easily leap into first round territory.
2. Jaishawn Barham (linebacker)
Despite struggling with inconsistency at times in 2024, Barham is one of the most talented defensive players on the team. Barham’s blend of elite athleticism and physicality make him a high-upside prospect that could climb mock drafts with a productive 2025 campaign. NFL scouts will certainly be intrigued by Barham’s potential if he can become more consistent.
3. Rayshaun Benny (defensive tackle)
Benny will get a chance to start after waiting his turn behind a plethora of NFL prospects. The veteran defensive tackle is hoping to follow in the footsteps of former teammates by getting drafted and a successful senior year should put him in a great position. Benny racked up 29 tackles and 1.5 sacks in a reserve role a year ago so the sky is the limit for what he can do as a starter.
4. Rod Moore (safety)
After being sidelined all of last season with a torn ACL, Moore is set to return this year. Moore was previously regarded as one of the top safety prospects in the nation so if he can bounce back and return to pre-injury form this fall, his draft stock will soar. Moore has shown plenty of potential by posting 142 tackles, seven pass deflections and four interceptions in three years.
5. Zeke Berry (defensive back)
Berry is the most versatile defensive players on the Wolverines’ defense and should be a legitimate NFL Draft candidate as well. His ability to play multiple positions at an elite level gives him a unique edge that NFL teams surely covet and scouts will radar this season. The do-it-all defensive back is set for an increased role in 2025, which should lead to a surge on draft boards.
With a productive 2025 season, these Wolverines could hear their names called in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft . Which of these five players do you think will make the biggest leap and climb up mock drafts in the upcoming campaign?
