From a quarterback who was lights out to athletic freaks at running back, receiver, and tight end, here are some of the winners on offense at the NFL Combine.
The 2025 NFL Scouting Combine was a long week that had its fair share of electrifying moments, especially on the offensive side of the ball.
Here are five winners from the combine on offense.
Texas WR Matthew Golden
Speed kills in the NFL, and Matthew Golden had the fastest 40-yard dash at receiver with a time of 4.29. Golden will be able to take the top off a defense in the NFL and will be an asset as a rookie, just like former Texas speedster Xavier Worthy was for the Chiefs in 2024. Golden’s first-round status was a lock heading into the combine, but now there’s a strong chance he’ll be selected in the top 15.

Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart
With Miami’s Cam Ward and Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders both not throwing it was Dart who shined the brightest. Dart’s passes had the most zip and appeared to have the strongest arm on deep balls, too. Dart was accurate from all quadrants of the field and looked loose and confident throughout the throwing session. ESPN’s Field Yates thinks Dart could sneak into the first-round conversation. I won’t be surprised if Dart turns out to be the best quarterback in the ‘25 class.

Virginia Tech RB Bhayshul Tuten
This is considered one of the deepest running back classes of all time, and among all the great talent, it was Tuten who emerged as a clear standout at the combine. Tuten ranked first in multiple categories at RB, including 40-yard dash (4.32), 10-yard split (1.49), and vertical jump (40.50”) while ranking No. 2 in broad jump (10’10”). Tuten may have worked himself into late second to third round territory.

Arkansas WR Issac TeSlaa
TeSlaa’s had an incredible offseason so far, with a great showing at the Senior Bowl and one of the best performances at wideout at the NFL Combine . TeSlaa had an NFL Next Gen Stats score of 96 at the combine, ranking first among receivers. The Arkansas product had the best 20-yard shuttle at 4.045 and had a solid 40-yard dash time of 4.43. TeSlaa looked great in the gauntlet drill and was both smooth and swift and during the deep ball portion of the workout, he had a great over-the-head basket catch.

At 6-foot-4, 214 pounds, TeSlaa is a mismatch in the slot and can be a deep threat out wide. TeSlaa was perceived as a late-round flier heading into the combine. Based on his measurables, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see a team take a chance on him in the third or fourth round. While TeSlaa only hauled in 28 receptions in 2024, he put up major yardage with those grabs, averaging 19.5 yards per reception and 546 receiving yards in all with three receiving scores. TeSlaa could be the next Puka Nacua and have the masses wondering why he wasn’t drafted sooner.
Oregon TE Terrance Ferguson
Penn State tight end Tyler Warren will be the first taken at the position, followed by Michigan’s Colston Loveland. However, Ferguson could wind up being a bargain pick in the second round compared to a top 10/15 asking price for Warren and Loveland. Ferguson’s 4.63 40-yard dash was the best time for a tight end and was also first in vertical jump (39’) and 10-yard split (1.55). The 6-foot-5, 247-pound Oregon product fared well during the drill portion of the combine as well.
