The Michigan Wolverines have sent multiple offers to players that are already committed to other college programs. Here are three names to watch for as the recruiting cycle heats up:
The Michigan Wolverines are not afraid to go after any high school prospect, even those already committed to other schools. Here are three recruits the Wolverines have offered, despite their commitments elsewhere, who are realistic flip candidates in the 2026 class.
Four-star CB CJ Bronaugh: Nebraska
At 6-foot-1, 166 pounds, the Winter Garden, Florida native can flat out fly. Bronaugh won the Florida 1A championship in both the 100m and 200m dashes as a sophomore. More recently, he was named “Alpha Dog” and MVP for the defensive backs at the Under Armour Next Camp in Orlando.
On the gridiron, Bronaugh might be better off as a safety in college because of his excellent range. But he still possesses stout man-to-man coverage skills and should make for a versatile piece.
Nebraska got a good one in Bronaugh, but that does not mean the Wolverines are going to go quietly.
After a great conversation with @CoachLMorgan I am happy to have earned an offer from the University of Michigan. Go Big Blue! @KieleyBronaugh @Coach_SMoore @karlos_sr @Andrew_Ivins @JohnGarcia_Jr @CenFLAPreps @SWiltfong_ @CountyPolk @DanLaForestFB @CoachSmith100 @On3Recruits pic.twitter.com/PMJcYqV4Y3

A top-100 national player, Bronaugh would add immense value to a Michigan secondary that loves Swiss Army knives. He has official visits scheduled with the Cornhuskers, Florida, Florida State and Penn State. Can head coach Sherrone Moore pull off the improbable and flip Bronaugh? We shall see.
Three-star WR Kenyon Alston: Illinois
Alston, who is 6-foot-2, 185 pounds, committed to the Illini in January. He was also proud to announce Michigan’s offer two weeks ago.

Alston had a productive junior campaign for Bishop Moore Catholic in Orlando, Florida, nabbing 48 catches for 970 yards and an eye-popping 14 touchdowns. He is a versatile, big-bodied, deep-threat receiver who would fit in nicely on an offense looking to become more explosive under Chip Lindsey.
He would not only make for a nice complement to fellow three-star wideout Jaylen Pile, who committed to the Wolverines in October, but flipping Alston would knock Big Ten rival Illinois down a rung.
Three-star CB Traeviss Stevenson: Georgia Tech
A 6-foot-1, 180-pounder from Quitman, Georgia, Stevenson has been committed to the Yellow Jackets since March 2025. However, he recently shared his offer from the Wolverines on social media.

Stevenson has planned visits to Florida State (May 30), Texas (June 6), Auburn (June 10), Georgia Tech (June 13) and Georgia (June 20). With his summer schedule already booked up, Michigan will have to try and get him on campus later this year to have a shot at flipping him away from Georgia Tech.
