The 6-foot-6, 290-pounder from Needham, Massachusetts has been a longtime top target for the Wolverines, earning his offer all the way back in Oct. 2023. Since then, he and his family have made numerous trips to Ann Arbor, including this spring and, most recently, for his official visit the weekend of June 20.

Walbridge took other official visits to Boston College, Alabama and Penn State in June. He was strongly considering his hometown school, in particular; Bill O’Brien and company gave him a lot to think about — including offering his younger brother Michael, a prospect in the 2028 recruiting class — but the Wolverines managed to still win out at the end of the day.

Following this commitment, Michigan is now up 14 total commitments and owns the No. 15 overall in the class rankings.

Walbridge is ranked No. 2 from the state of Massachusetts, No. 38 at the offensive tackle position and No. 447 overall in the class, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings. Check out his junior year highlights down below.
