The 6-foot-3, 295-pounder is originally from the state of Michigan, but now plays for IMG Academy down in Florida. The Wolverines have been recruiting him over well over two years at this point, having him up for multiple unofficial visits since 2022. He took his official visit to Ann Arbor for Victors Weekend the weekend of June 21.
Strayhorn, who is actually a Michigan State legacy — you just HATE to see it, Sparty — is being recruited by Michigan to play center. He joins four-star Avery Gach (guard) as offensive linemen in the Wolverines’ 2025 class.
Other players Grant Newsome and Sherrone Moore continue to recruit along the offensive line include five-star Andrew Babalola (tackle), four-star Seuseu Alofaituli (guard), four-star Douglas Utu (flex) and four-star Hardy Watts (flex).
Besides Michigan and MSU, Strayhorn earned other offers from Georgia, Miami, Alabama, LSU , Ohio State , Penn State, Florida State , Florida, Auburn, Texas, Wisconsin, USC, Tennessee and more.
Strayhorn is the No. 28 interior offensive lineman, No. 58 player from Florida and No. 435 overall player in his class, according to 247Sports’ composite. Check out some of his best junior season highlights on his Hudl page .
