Some Spartans see bumps up in the latest On3/Rivals Rankings
As we move through summer and inch towards the start of football season, one favorable report has recently come out regarding Michigan State’s 2026 recruiting class. The On3/Rivals recruiting service updated their rankings yesterday.
Wide Receiver Tyren Wortham is the top-ranked recruit in the class and moved up to the number 112 player overall in the 2026 class. Wortham is one of four 4-star recruits in the class along with OT Collin Campbell, OL Eli Bickell, and QB Kayd Coffman.
The Spartans’ 2026 class currently consists of 22 commits and generally ranks in the 25-35 range among the various services. The table below from On3/Rivals is prior to yesterday’s rankings update:
Of the 22 players, 10 are on the offensive side of the ball:
- 4 offensive linemen
- 2 tight ends
- 1 quarterback
- 3 wide receivers
And 12 play defense:
- 3 cornerbacks
- 1 defensive lineman
- 3 edge rushers
- 2 linebackers
- 3 safeties
