What games are coming up this week for the hockey, men’s basketball, and women’s basketball teams?
Happy Monday TOC. What an awesome day Saturday was. In case you have not seen this tribute video yet, do yourself a favor and take a few minutes to watch it. And again, congratulations to Tom Izzo. We are blessed to have him.
Okay, looking ahead, we are into the back half of February now, which means the regular seasons are winding down. Hockey and women’s basketball each have two more weeks left, while men’s hoops has three. After hockey had a bye this past weekend, all three teams are back in action this week and we have a full schedule.
In the rankings, hockey is still #2 in the pairwise. The women’s basketball holds steady at #22 while the men drop three more spots to #14.

A couple more notes for you. First, for those who did not see it when I posted this last time, this Saturday is the Detroit Spartans Gala . Secondly, so I don’t usually watch reality TV, but I saw a commercial for this new show called “Extracted” on Fox. The premise is that they were dropping the contestants out in the middle of the wilderness, each of them alone, and they have to figure out how to survive. So I watched the first episode last Monday and it’s good. But the reason I am mentioning it here is there is a former MSU athlete on the show. Not mentioning who. You got to watch it to see it. The second episode is tonight.
