What games are coming up this week for the hockey, men’s basketball, and women’s basketball teams?
Last week was a perfect week in the MSU athletic department. A win for the men’s basketball team, two for the women, and a sweep of Minnesota – including a 9-3 beatdown – for the hockey team. Clearly, the Gods are pleased with Sparta.
In the new rankings the women’s basketball team is up to #16, the men’s hoops go up one spot to #7, and the hockey team remains at #2.
As far as O’s predictions last week, I got a bullseye on our score in the Rutgers game, having predicted an 81-69 victory; if it were not for some ridiculous late 3s by Derkack, I’d have been even closer on the Rutgers side of the dash. And my prediction of 85-63 in the women’s game against PSU came pretty close to the actual final of 82-61. My hockey predictions were, understandably, not as accurate.
