Travis Kelce has a big decision to make this offseason. The 36-year-old veteran may return to play one more season with the Kansas City Chiefs, or he could retire after 13 seasons with the franchise.
Kelce is also planning a wedding with his fiancée, Taylor Swift. While the famous couple has managed to keep most details under wraps, they’re rumored to tied the knot on June 13 — fans know 13 is Swift’s lucky number.
Chiefs owner Clark Hunt wants Kelce back in the building. “There’s no doubt in my mind that he can still play, Hunt told “Good Morning Football” this week. “We’re trying to be respectful and let him have the time that he needs to make a decision. He has a busy offseason with an engagement and marriage.”

While Swift has kept a low profile over the past month, her latest album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” continues to break records. Between Swift getting her masters back last June and the historic success of her new record, which was largely inspired by her romance with Kelce, it’s hard to imagine her not being the top pop artist of 2025.
According to Billboard, however, she’s not.

Chartdata announced earlier this month, “Taylor Swift was the #1 best-selling artist in the US in 2025, with 14.1 million total album units sold.” Swift is also the No. 1 best-selling artist in the U.K. in 2025, BBC reported .
However, Billboard ranked Swift at No. 2 on their annual Greatest Pop Star list. Naturally, Swifties took issue with the main question being — who’s No. 1? One fan begged on X, “the first being…??????”
A Swiftie posted , “2nd? Honey, even the chart needs a reality check. 😏” Another fan balked , “The person with the highest album sales and longest number one isn’t the greatest popstars of 2025 so I guess we’re just going off vibes again.”
One woman posted , “Uh huh. She is so #1 they have to call her #2 just to get ppl to care about the list lol.” An X user brushed aside the slight and wrote , “These billboard lists are always pay-to-play.”
While Billboard has yet to announce who took the top spot, it’s likely going to be Bad Bunny, who’s headlining this year’s Super Bowl LX halftime show.

Hall of Fame, Swift is set to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
The 2026 announced their nominees for the prestigious honor in October. The Songwriters HOF states, “A songwriter with a catalog of notable songs qualifies for induction 20 years after their first commercial release of a song.” Swift’s first commercial release, “Tim McGraw,” dropped in June 2006, marking 2026 as her first year of eligibility.
At age 36, she’s the second-youngest inductee in the HOF’s history, as Stevie Wonder received the honor at 32 years old. However, she’s the youngest woman to receive the honor. Other inductees this year include Alanis Morissette, Kenny Loggins, Christopher “Tricky” Stewart, and more. The private award ceremony will take place on June 11 in New York City.
