Let’s look at what the writers are saying after week 9

Hey everyone, the top ten returns this week. We skipped it last week because we were focused on other things. I know you all missed it, as this article usually is among the most commented on among our normal pieces. Okay, I won’t keep you waiting any longer. After week 9, the Big Ten writers’ Top Ten looks like this:

9. (tie) BYU – 11 points

9. (tie) Iowa St. – 11 points

8. Tennessee – 15 points

7. Clemson – 21 points

6. Texas – 40 points

5. Miami – 47 points

4. Ohio St. – 51 points

3. Georgia – 66 points

2. Penn St. – 68 points

1. Oregon – 80 points (unanimous 1st place)

Player Of The Week

This certainly was not the most stat-stuffing week in the college game. In the end, Auburn RB Jarquez Hunter got the most votes for his 23 carry, 278 yard, 2 TD performance in his team’s win over Kentucky. Go Payton Thorne!

Heisman Watch

We only had three players receive votes this week:

3. Cam Ward – 11 points

2. Travis Hunter – 14 points

1. Ashton Jeanty – 20 points

Enjoy your week, everyone.
