It’s finally not just O anymore!!
I have waited a long time to introduce some new talent to The Only Colors. No longer will you all only be subjected to O’s bad takes. Now, you all will get to read the compositions of our new writer. Please join me in welcoming Mike Homes to the TOC community!
He has put together a short bio to introduce himself:
“Hello TOC! My name is Mike. My parents are both MSU grads in the College of Education. I grew up in Southeast Michigan and spent many Saturdays in Spartan Stadium, and traveling to other Big Ten venues, cheering on the Green and White. I went to Purdue University and have lived in California since 2002, but have continued to follow the Spartans since they were such a big part of my early life.
After an incredibly uninspiring high school basketball career, I took up rowing at Purdue and began coaching after graduation. This led to an unplanned but very rewarding career of nearly 30 years at five different universities. Now retired from coaching and looking for the next challenge, I’m very thankful for this opportunity with TOC.”
