Who is making the Sweet 16?
It has been a rather lackluster first two days of the NCAA Tournament. Chalk has prevailed early as all 16 teams seeded 1 through 4 are on to the Round of 32. We had zero game-winning buzzer beaters and very little late game drama. Perhaps the games over the next two days will deliver more memorable moments.
There will be eight games today and eight more tomorrow. Let’s see what happens.
The Big Ten was a perfect 8-0 in Round 1. Four of the 8 will be the higher seed (1 = highest for those unsure of the wording) in the next round.
The SEC also had 8 teams advance, while six lost. Six of the remaining eight are the higher seed in their next game.
