This year’s champion will be crowned tonight
For those of you who live in the area, make sure you get to the gymnasium at Holt High School tonight for the final games of the 2025 Moneyball Pro-Am. Tuesday night featured a trio of games to determine who will be playing in the final 2 games tonight, one semifinal at 6 PM and then the final at 8.
While I do not have the full results of Tuesday’s games, I do know that Team Faygo, which features Jaxon Kohler and Divine Ugochukwo, is still alive. Here is the solo highlight I have been able to sleuth on the webs:

That victory came over Case Credit Union, Nick Sanders team. If I go by the standings to assume who is still playing tonight, we will see Faygo taking on Motorcars with Coen Carr and Cam Ward, with the winner of that taking on 1st place TriStar with Jeremy Fears and Carson Cooper.
UPDATE: Thank you to MSU98 for the info. Turns out that Team Snipes knocked off Motorcars so it will be Faygo vs. Snipes in tonight’s early game, and the winner of that plays TriStar. Snipes has Trey Fort and Jordan Scott.
In some other basketball news, there have been reports that Jesse McCulloch is out of the walking boot and back to practicing with the team. This is a welcome bit of news as he is expected to be the backup center to Cooper this upcoming season.
Also, some news from the recruiting trail, MSU made an offer to 2026 5-star center Ethan Taylor. Taylor is a 7-footer who is the #1 center in the class according to the 247 composite. I don’t usually mention offers around here. This one is particularly interesting as Taylor will be playing on the same team next season as recent commit Carlos Medlock Jr. at Link Academy in Branson, Missouri. Let’s hope this helps give Tom Izzo an inside track to the prized recruit. With Cooper going into his final season, there is a clear need for a center in the 2026 class.
