Tom Izzo gets first recruit for 2025
That long awaited first member of the 2025 MSU basketball recruiting has finally arrived. On Thursday afternoon, Jordan Scott made his college announcement live on 247 Sports. You can see his announcement here .
Jordan Scott is a four-star small forward from Reston, Virginia. Jordan is 6’7” and currently weighs 185 pounds. He plays high school ball for South Lakes High School as well as for Virginia Elite Under Armour in the AAU circuit. 247 places him as the 52nd ranked player in his class.
In his selection speech, Jordan cites Tom Izzo as a big part of choosing the Spartans, saying “Tom Izzo is a legendary coach. He’s built a great foundation over the past 30 years and I definitely want to be a part of that program.”
