The Annual Tournament Began Tuesday Night
Tuesday night marked the beginning of the 19th version of the Moneyball Pro-Am event. This tournament has been a welcome opportunity for us Spartan faithful to get some actual game action featuring MSU athletes to help break up the summer months.
As always, the games are being played at Holt High School, just a short drive from East Lansing. Games will be played every Tuesday and Thursday evening through August 1; there will be no games the week of July 4. In addition to MSU basketball players, the event is heavy on Central Michigan players. Rules stipulate that there can be no more than 2 Spartans on a team. This year, every MSU scholarship player is on a team with the exception of Jeremy Fears, for obvious reasons. That includes the incoming freshmen and transfers.
For anyone in the E.L. area who is planning on going to this one evening, please feel free to send photos to theonlycolorseditors@gmail.com.
