Is tonight the night that Izzo breaks the record?
The story has unfolded in a beautifully symbolic manner. Nearly 25 years after the great Bob Knight coached his final game at Indiana, his record for conference wins is finally going to be broken. The even greater, and significantly less controversial, Tom Izzo has tied Knight’s mark, and now he has the chance to break it against the school where Knight created his legacy.
That’s the big thing to know for tonight. We get to watch history with an MSU victory. Vegas has us favored by 11.5 points. The over/under is 148.5. What do you think is going to happen?
I predict that MSU just covers, winning 78-66. I’m taking the under.

Also of significance tonight is the game between Purdue and um in ann arbor. That game is on at 7 also on Peacock. MSU is tied with um a half game behind Purdue for the Big Ten lead.
