Free agents have been flying off the board early, and not much action from Detroit until Darren Dreger reported that the team is signing goaltender Cam Talbot to a two-year deal at $2.5 million AAV. Talbot, a former All-Star, had decent numbers with the Los Angeles Kings last season — .913 SV% and a 2.50 GAA in 54 appearances.
