ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the Dolphins are signing former Lions CB Ifeatu Melifonwu to a one-year, $4 million contract. Melifonwu, 25, is the brother of veteran S Obi Melifonwu and was a two-year starter for Syracuse. He was also named third-team All-ACC in 2020. Jeremy Fowler reports that the Lions are re-signing veteran OL Dan Skipper to a one-year contract.  Skipper, 30, originally signed on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Arkansas back in 2017. Dave Birkett reports the Lions are re-signing RFA DL Myles Adams to a one-year deal. Adams, 27, wound up going undrafted out of Rice back in April 2020. He later signed a rookie contract with the Panthers but was waived coming out of training camp. Fox Sports’ Jordan Schultz reports the Lions are signing CB D.J. Reed to a three-year, $48 million contract. Schultz adds the deal has $32 million in full guarantees. Reed, 28, was a fifth-round pick out of Kansas State by the 49ers in 2018.
